Pirate Cutlass Holder and Flinlock holster over the shoulder belt Bandolier

This is a real leather, custom made over the shoulder Bandolier. It comes with the metal buckle seen in the pictures. The first picture is to show you what the bandolier will look like paired with your cutlass and one of our flintlock holster options. The other pictures show you the different variations of bandolier and our Flintlock pistol holster styles. You can pair bandolier with one of our holsters to really bring your costume to life.

The cutlass and pistols are not included.

Options:
   Bandolier only - You will get the bandolier only. It will have the holder for your cutlass built into the design, seen in pictures 2 and 3.
   Add style 1 Holster - You will get the bandolier and the Style 1 Flintlock Holster seen in picture 1.
   Add style 2 Holster - You will get the bandolier and the Style 2 Flintlock Holster seen in pictures 4 and 5.
  
To properly size the bandolier:   Decide where you want the sword to be placed on your side. See our pictures for example of proper placement and were on you we need the measurement to be. Get someone to help you with this if necessary. run a measuring tape from the point on your hip/upper thigh, over the opposite shoulder and back down to the same point. I will need pictures of this as reference for proper placement and I will also need the measurement so I know how long to make the bandolier. We can also send the bandolier a little long, include the hardware, and you can attach it yourself, for a perfect fit. But we cannot send an infinity long belt, so we will still need a measurement to go on. If no measurements are sent we will make to fit what we consider a standard size. Which will be the same size as the one in our pictures, which is around 70" in total length. It is best for you to get us the pictures  and proper measurements we require to get the best possible product and to keep you from having to pay for extra shipping and alterations. 

We don’t pre-punch holes for accessories in the bandolier for a few reasons. First, we’re not sure whether you prefer to mount the holster on the bandolier or on a belt. If you do choose to attach it to the bandolier, we wouldn’t know exactly where you’d want it placed—this positioning is highly personal, and we believe it’s best left up to you so you can choose what fits you best.

Additionally, we feel that a bandolier with multiple unused holes doesn’t look clean or finished. The one shown in the photos is our prototype, where we added several holes to test different attachment points. After doing so, we decided we didn’t like the overall appearance, which reinforced our decision to leave the final customization to you.

Once you’ve determined where you want the holster, mark the desired hole placement. Then, using a punch or a drill with the appropriate bit, you can add the hole(s) in exactly the right spot for your setup.

Regarding the end of the bandolier— Adding a scabbard will naturally provide the tension needed to keep it closed. If you’re not using a scabbard, you can secure the strap by drilling a hole through the strap and the back of the loop where they overlap, then inserting a Chicago screw to hold them together. Avoid drilling through the front of the loop so the screw stays hidden for a cleaner look. We can set up a video call and walk you through any of this.

It is made from a nice thick 6 -8 oz. Weight leather.

The brown bandoliers are hand dyed. The finishes will vary from piece to piece based on the piece of leather and how it takes dye.
